Macklemore - Same Love

Same Love is a song by Macklemore that describes what people say about LGBTs. (Lesbain, Gay, Bisexual, Trans) I think that the lyrics are great because when Macklemore says "We become so numb to what we're saying", he means that people just abuse these people for what they are, and that they don't know what they are saying anymore. I personally am okay with LGBT, but others shouldn't abuse them for who they are and their relationship. Even if you don't like them, it's not nice to say that and people would feel upset for that. When Macklemore says, "A culture founded from oppression, yet we don't have
acceptance for 'em" he means that being gay is fine but peop-le aren't going to accept the fact that it's just them and others
who want to be gay. Saying you aren't allowed to be gay is like saying "No, your favourite colour isn't blue. It's green." If you
are allowed to pick your favourite colour, why aren't you allowed to be gay because others say so? I agree that it is pretty unatural, but it's completely fine for someone to be gay. This ends a super boring and quick ramble, but I hope you enjoyed this boring post.
