17 Leanne - Stuff To Do: Not Being Bored

Hello people reading this, this blog about stuff you can do when you're bored.  I know that every single person will be bored at least once, so if you are bored of reading this, you should probably scroll down after this.  SCROLL DOWN IF BORED.  This blog will have things that might be for you that you want to try,  things that are new to you, things that you never heard of, things that you think that you will have fun or things that you might think that I made up.  I also feel like I am also bored 24/7, just a random fact about me. So, when you're bored, look below.

That was about my blog intro, but here is my intro. My favourite sports are soccer, swimming and very little volleyball. My favourite word is BLOOP. I love BLOOP. Wabba is so uncool, it's like the complete opposite of BLOOP. Anyways, I like any colours that go well together. I also love pretty much anything that tastes good. That was pretty much it, so check out my blogs!

Entertain Yourself With a "Violent Game" (Non-Violent)

posted May 27, 2014, 12:50 PM by Unknown user

This game is really weird and I don't even know how I came up with it. There is no object of this game really. You just fight (punch, kick, etc), but in really slow motion so no one can get hurt. Its pretty fun to be honest. When a person hits you slow motion, you just act like you actually got hit in slow motion. You and another person just have to like work together slow motion and like fight like you are actually in a fight. When he/she misses, you duck. But don't always duck because then its not fun for the other person. You can do tuck and roll across the room (if you know how, I know), do those flips (I don't know if you should actually do them, they are pretty dangerous if you don't land properly), and do all sorts of things. I actually like this game and my sister likes it too, we play together and its pretty fun.

Do Things That Don't Require Much Time

The tittle might sound really useless, but u might not get the point of it. Doing things that might take not a lot of time up can actually take up a lot of time. That probably didn't make any sense... but what I mean is, doing short things that are entertaining for you, can feel like hours are passing by really quick. For example, quizzes or short 1 minute videos on Youtube can feel like hours when you do or watch different videos or quizzes. Me and Robin kept trying to do a Divergent quiz and we did around maybe 30 quizzes, but each quiz takes up maybe a few minutes, but that was entertaining for us (not sure if it was entertaining for Robin, but it was for me). It felt like hours until I had to eat dinner. I love watching short 1 minute videos. They can be funny, educational or anything. I kept watching them for maybe an hour or so and to me it felt like dinner was already ready for me (I eat dinner at around 6:30) when actually it was still 5:00. So yeah, doing short things that don't require much time can actually feel like hours.

Just Think.

Thinking or daydreaming is one of my top things to do when I'm bored. Just let your imagination go insane... like a loaf of bread wondering. Once in Chinese school, I was thinking for half an hour straight and it felt literally like a minute. I just think about my life and my future because I am so curious what will happen.... what if I become a hobo? Daydreaming I do almost half the day. I dream of so many random scenarios and make up a random unusual ending to it and daydream a new scenario. Bloop, #HAMMY, #DON'TQUESTIONTHEBREAD and Hur, they just randomly come inside my head from out of nowhere and i start spreading my #HAMMYNESS, #DON'TQUESTIONTHEBREADNESS, MY BLOOPINESS AND MY HURNESS everywhere. These just start randomly. I got my #HAMMY because Kristi was one day having lunch and piles of ham were in her sandwich and she didn't like it and so #HAMMY popped in my head like that ham went inside my head and formed itself into #HAMMY. I got #DON'TQUESTIONTHEBREAD because I was talking to Robin one day on chat and i was eating bread at that time. I told Robin and she asked this question (I forgot what was the question) and so the bread was being offended by her. This was only part of this story because I forgot the full story to it but anyway, yeah.
its so sad because someone questioned the bread. NOW ITS SAGGING.....

Play The Worlds Most Frustrating Game

posted Apr 18, 2014, 6:39 PM by Unknown user   [ updated Apr 19, 2014, 8:51 AM ]

This game was introduced to me last year by my friend and ever since this game had been very frustrating for me. Everytime I lose I become so mad! But anyways this game is the hardest game I've ever played. Its fun, but really hard. This game really doesn't make you bored because once you lose just once, it makes you so determined to win, even past one level! I only made it past level 3, but then I accidently closed the tab and my games didn't save. All my hard work is gone now. Anyways I died a lot of times while playing this game. I can almost guarantee you that you will not get past the first level in one try. It took me around 20 tries. If the purpose of this game is to lower people's self confidence, its doing a great job.
PS: Did you know the creator of this game doesn't even know how to beat his game?

Build a Fort

posted Apr 18, 2014, 3:35 PM by Unknown user   [ updated Apr 19, 2014, 8:53 AM ]

Building a fort or requires time, especially when you want to make it a really awesome and cool fort for you to hangout or maybe just a hideout fort or something like that. So building a fort will need furniture that easily moves such as dining chairs and you will also need pillows, blankets or things like that to put in your fort. A few years ago when I was playing with my neighbor, we made a fort out of chairs in my house. It was really cool. So anyways how I made my fort was I got 6 dining chairs and we put it in a rectangle with the back of the chairs are forming a fence to prevent us from falling while leaving a gap between two chairs to make the entrance. After that, we just got some different stool chair with different heights and arranged them to form a 3 stair staircase. Next, we just grabbed a bunch of pillows and leaned it against the chair fence. Then we just grabbed blankets, stuff, books, and whatever we wanted to the fort. Since the chairs had these small cubby boxes, we put stuff in there too. Plan where you want to put your fort. We put our fort right in front of our tv. Now here's another design you could do: this design also requires blankets and pillows and struts (chairs, thick, big rolls of whatever, etc) or  for support. First you position your struts and you lay your blanket over them. Leave another opening for the entrance/exit. If you don't want to use your blankets, just use hard cardboard (remember, it has to be has thick as the box cardboard that come with the package). Instead of the chairs and stuff, you use cardboard sticks (these cardboard sticks are really thick and strong). First, you make a border using cardboard. Then, you lay the thick cardboard sticks on top of the boarding - stretching across to the other side. After that, you have finished your frame of the cardboard house. Finally you lay the pieces of cardboard on top of the frame and again leaving an opening for the exit/entrance. There's lots of ways to build a fort or a fort. Here I've given you 3 ways. GO CRAZY AND HAVE FUN.

Comb a Old Doll's Hair

posted Apr 16, 2014, 2:02 PM by Unknown user

Back in January, I was combing a doll's hair a lot of hair got ripped out because of me, but oh well (PS, forever bald). Ripping a old doll's hair take up lots of time when you're trying to perfect it, but then ruin it by setting it on the table or flushing her head down a toilet. So anyways, this doll can be a Barbie doll or a stuffed animal's fur or anything like that. This is really simple, anyone could do it. You just get a regular human comb or brush or those small combs or brushes that come with a doll or stuffed animal and you can start ripping hair out. I think this also is really good for letting out your anger. After combing, you will probably be really surprised by all the hair ripped out by you, but thats normal. The doll might have a bald spot after that but whatever, guess that doll will be forever bald.

Finger Knitting

posted Apr 16, 2014, 12:53 PM by Unknown user   [ updated Apr 16, 2014, 5:58 PM by Unknown user ]

Finger knitting is really easy if you get the hang of it. My instructions may seem really confusing, but the video will help if you don't understand. So the first step to finger knitting is to get a piece of string, yarn, whatever you want but I like to use string. I don't really have yarn so I didn't really try yarn, but string still works, just not as pretty as yarn I would think. So the first step to finger knitting is to cut or get a really long piece of string. Then taking one end of it, hold it between your thumb. After that, use the long end of it meaning the opposite end of the side that you used to hold between your thumb and put it in between your index finger and your middle finger, then under your middle finger and over and under your ring finger and over and under your pinkie. This process is just under and over your fingers. When you reach your pinkie, under and over it, repeat it but this time its the opposite way. Repeat this until you see 2 pieces of string on each finger except for your index finger. Once you have done this, pull the long end of the string toward the palm of your hand. Now usinf the tail of string between your thumb, put it in between your index and middle finger. Next, with the 2 pieces of string you see on each finger, pull the bottom string over your finger. Repeat this with all fingers except for your index finger. Once you have this done, repeat the under and over your fingers process until there are 2 pieces on each of your finger. Repeat the pull the string over your finger process and this time do it for the index finger too. Keep repeating until you see the pattern of string forming on the back of your hand.

Macklemore's song "Same Love"

posted Mar 19, 2014, 6:45 PM by Unknown user   [ updated Apr 19, 2014, 8:55 AM ]

Some emotions that I feel from this song is disappointed because some people don't accept other people and that they don't want to communicate with them even when they have nothing to do. Also what it makes me think about is why other people don't want to accept other people for who they are and treating them different because the way they are, especially when they are gay or when other people just feel that they are really different from them. What I want to say about is respect people and accept other people always.

Have a snowball fight inside

For this you need a lot for flyers and papers. This is also really fun when you are playing with someone that's littler than you! You just crumple lots of newspaper into balls then tape them. Its really easy. When I was little I always played this with my sister and we also made forts with pillows and chairs. If you want to get serious, go raid the other person's fort or snowballs. After playing, there will dfinitly be a cleanup. If you don't like cleaning up or you're just really lazy, I suggest you not to do this. Also after cleaning up, you'll find probably lots of snowballs under furniture such as couches, shelves and corners. After a few months, you might find some more, but oh well.

Go Skiing in your House

This is actually super fun and is kinda a workout, I tried this with my older sister and it was really fun, but I wiped out, still really fun!  So what you will do is get another person, 2 tissue boxes and a jumping rope or a hoola hoop.  What you do is really simple and super fun too!  So one person will slip on the 2 tissue boxes on their feet while the other person holds on to both ends of the jumping rope ( I'd prefer the jumping rope over the hoola hoop ), then it would look like you were to jump rope.  After that part, the person with the tissue boxes will hold on the rope.  Then after both of you are done, the person who is holding both ends of the jumping rope will have to pull, this will definitely work on carpet flooring but i'm not sure if this will work on wood flooring.  Anyways, the person wearing the tissue boxes can bed their knees, but don't bend them too much or else you're going to wipe out like me!  This is really really fun!  And if you want, you can change the tissue boxes to a sled, so instead of the person wearing tissue boxes, they will be sitting on the sled with a jumping rope tied to it.  This is really fun, you should try it!
