21 Harish - Famous Sportsman

Hi my name is Harish and this blog is about me. First my favourite sport is hockey and my favourite team is Montreal.My blog is about famous sportsman. I  play ice hockey and I started at the age of 4.. Next I play a game on my IPod called Minecraft and my favourite colour is green. My favourite subjects  are math, science and phys ed. Sidney Crosby

Sidney Crosby is the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins and was captain of Team Canada this year in Sochi. Crosby took till the gold medal game to score on a break away and Canada defeated Sweden 3-0. Crosby was drafted 21st by the Pittsburgh Penguins and played his  first game in 2005. Crosby id known for his fast stick handling, speed, assists and overtime or shootout goals. Crosby missed 2 of 10 shootouts try's the season. Crosby finished the regular season with 39 goals. He scored 1 in the 2nd round playoffs this year. He finished 1st in the league in points but 6th in goals under Kessel, Getzlaf and Perry. He has 4000 assists in his career. Crosby chose 87 because of Don Cherry. Marc Andre Fleury

Marc Andre Fleury in French it is Marc Andre Flower is a French, Canadian ice hockey goaltender playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National hockey League. Fleury was drafted 1st by the Penguins in 2004 and played his first game in 2005 against the New York Rangers and got a shutout in his first NHL duput. Fleury has gotten 4 gold medals for Canada in the World Juniors and 1 gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. In 2015 Fleury will be a restricted agent meaning he could be traded or with law it so he can stay in Pittsburgh.

Jonathan Quick is an american ice hockey goaltender who plays for the Los Angeles Kings. Quick is known for his lateral moving from post to post while being in net. Jonathan Quick played in the 2010 and 2014 Olympics for USA. The Kings selected Quick in the 72nd NHL entry draft. Quick was born in Milford Connecticut USA. He was born on January aged 28. Jonathan Quick has a 62..4 goals against average and a 901 save percentage.

Tuukka Rask

 Tuukka Mikael Rask is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender playing for the Boston Bruins. Tuukka has also been in 2014 R Olympics playing for team Finland. Rask was drafted 21st overall in 2005 NHL entry draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Tuukka Rask was born on March
 10 1987 age 27. 

Carey Price

Carey Price is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender. He currently plays for the Montreal Canadiens of the National hockey league. Carey Price was
the starter goalie for team Canada in the 2014 Sochi Olympics. He won his first gold medal but has also got some for the World Juniors. Carey Price had 2 shutouts against USA and Sweden a score of 1-0 and 3-0. Beginning his junior year

Daniel Sedin

Daniel Sedin is a Swedish ice hockey player who plays for the Vancouver Canucks. He and his brother Henrick Sedin played for team Sweden in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. He is a professional and his dad was a member of the hockey hall of fame. 

Steve Yzerman

Steve Yzerman is a Canadian ice hockey player who retired. He is a current general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the national hockey league. He was born in Cranbrook, BC ,Canada. He was born on May 9 1965. Steve played his entire hockey career for the Detroit Red Wings and is a member of the hockey hall of fame. Steve won 3 Stanley cups in the playoffs. At the age of 21 his season 1986-87 he was named captain on the Detroit Red Wings. On July 3 2006 Yzerman officially retired and had one of the best quotes. That is all I know. 

Donovan Bailey

 Donovan Bailey is a retired Canadian sprinter. He once held the world record for the 100 meters race following his gold medal performance
in the 1996 summer Olympic games. He was the first Canadian to legally break the 10 second barrier in the 100 m, He was the first coloured person to join the Olympics before they only allowed white people. He was born in Manchester Parish, Jamaica. He is a former Canadian athlete.

Patrick Roy

Patrick Jacques Roy was a very famous ice hockey goal tender. He played for the Colorado Avalanche and the Montreal Canadiens He was born
on October 5 1965. He played for both those teams but now he is a head coach and vice hockey President of the National Hockey League.
He split his career playing for Montreal for 10 years and Colorado for 8 years. Roy won 4 Stanley cups 2 with each team. He was the best
ice hockey goaltender in the year of 1970. In 2004 Roy was nominated as the greatest hockey goalie in NHL history. On November 13 2006 Roy
was inducted in the hockey hall of fame. He is right now retired but is the general coach for the Avalanche. On hos last game Roy won and his team scored 20 goals against the Boston Bruins. The Montreal Canadiens had got the most goals of the year  and Roy got the MVP or the most valuable player award. That is all I now about him.
